Intro

I’ve been online a long time1, and I find, learn, and do a lot of things. Like a great many of us, I like to share them.

I’ve tended to waffle back and forth as to where they end up. First it was blogs. Then it was a space. A tweet. A wall. A tumbl2. Back to the wall. More tweets. Another blog. Wall again. A microblog. Tweet. More wall.

Early in 2025, after stumbling onto a blog post that referred to it as such, I decided I wanted to have my own little corner of the Internet again. This is what you have found.

Whether it’s some semi-coherent thoughts, some puzzle I solved for myself with no where else to share it, something new I learned, a photo I took, or just an interesting link, this is its new spot.

I know full well I have next to zero audience outside of myself, and that’s okay. You’re one of a small number who even know this is here. It’s just a tucked-away corner for me to call home online. Feel free to look around.

About

I’m a guy in Western New York, who’s a long-suffering fan of the sports teams that come with that (plus some from further out).

I ruck, and encourage others to do so, too. I like writing with fountain pens and paper, even though I don’t get to do it very often day-to-day. I listen to new music that sounds like it’s 30+ years old. I enjoy trivia games, particularly this one that’s really difficult, both to play and to join. When I remember to do so, I dabble in photography.

I’ve been working and playing with computers and related gadgets nearly my entire life. Most of my personal stuff is Apple, but I deal with a lot of others as well.

  1. I almost used the word “cyberspace” here. That ought to give you an idea of just how long.

  2. That’s probably not really a word, or what they’re called. But, now it is.
